• Debug Level: You can make Xastir dump extraordinary amounts of internal information by changing the debug level here. Most if it is of no interest to users.
• Enable English Units: Xastir will display measurements in metric units unless this box is selected.
• Distance/Bearing status: If selected, Xastir will show the distance and bearing from your station of the current mouse cursor position down in the status bar.
• Save Config Now! Xastir will not actually write changes to the configuration out to its ~/.xastir/config/xastir.cnf file until you exit the program or until you click this menu entry.
