Serial GPS interface

If you have a GPS unit with a serial port and that GPS unit can be set to send NMEA sentences to the serial port, you can connect it to Xastir with this interface type.

• Stand alone GPS port: the serial port to which the GPS is attached
• Comment: A note to yourself that will appear in the Interface Control list.
• Activate on startup: Should Xastir turn on this interface every time it starts?
• Set System Clock from GPS Data?: Set this to have Xastir take control of your system clock and reset it from times it gets out of the GPS. Xastir has to be running SUID root for this to work.
• Port style: Set number of bits, parity, and number of stop bits here.
